Lifestyle Portraits

A portrait is a portrayal of someone and should say something about the person it represents. I therfore try to reflect personality in my photography by capturing natural expression and emotion.

Good composition and lighting are always important factors but it’s the emotion that really makes an image stand out. Life style photogrphy is about photographing you in your environment, this is why the majority of my photo shoots are outside, I like to use the natural environment as my backdrop. This can be in your own home or on location, and is usually relevant to you and your lifestyle.

I will come to you, and I carry all the necessary equipment. Where possible I like to use natural light but I always carry portable flash and screens just in case.

Family Portraits

Photographing a family portrait is about capturing a moment in time, and preserving those cherished memories, that can never to be repeated. It is also an opportunity to get the whole family together, you could include grandparents, uncles and aunties to make the occasion special. It can be done in your own home or at a venue such as a stately home or a hotel, where you could make a weekend if it.

Children

What are the images you have in your mind of your children? Are they sitting on a fluffy rug with a cheesy grin or are they running around playing and laughing. My aim is to capture them doing things that kids do. These are the type images I have of my own kids, on the walls of my home. I love them because they are natural and really say something about their personalities.

Adults

We are never to keen on being photographed especially in our former years, but then in reality we don’t look as bad as we think we do, and loved ones always want a nice photograph to remind them of us. With this in mind, I aim to create a portrait that has your personality coming through. Because of this I usually get the comments, “actually, I don’t look that bad!”

Prints and prices

A 2/3hr lifestyle photoshoot for 2/3 hrs will cost £125.00.

Prints

A beautiful image deserves to be displayed properly. I will go to a great deal of effort to ensure that the image is well exposed using the correct colours and depth of tones. To ensure that this is apparent in the final print, I either do my own prints or use a local lab that I know and trust that will reproduce a colour match and the print quality I expect.

Framing

I offer a large range of beautiful hand made frames, canvases, and acrylics that will enhace the final results and look great. Styles can be contemporary or traditional to match the decoration of your room.

Albums

During a shoot I will take a large number of photographs and sometimes it is hard to choose which one to display. The budget or the wall space will not allow you to display them all so in this case a beautiful album or a book is a great way of keeping the images so that you can look at them any time.

Disk with printable images

If you wish you can buy the images, I will compile a disk with the edited jpeg images and you can print as amny copies as you wish.

Profile photos for social networking sites

A necessity for us all! linked in & Twitter are just 2 of the networking sites that require a profile picture. Instead of using that one of you with the cat or you on holiday have aprofessional photo taken. With the right lighting, you will look more appealing and professional and it wont cost as much as you think either.
